This is the Detailed Regulations (enforcement rule, or 시행세칙) issued by the Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service to implement that Regulation. It prescribes the matters delegated to the FSS Governor and the details necessary for enforcement, including the securities-analysis standards and reporting via electronic document.
It reflects the Korean text enforced on 2 June 2025. The last official English translation was published in 2014; this edition incorporates all subsequent amendments, and every provision changed since the 2014 official translation is highlighted.
Registration of QIB securities and of the buyers was transferred to the Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) with a Korea Securities Depository proprietary-account settlement requirement (2016); a new Chapter II-2 on the sale of foreign government bonds was inserted (2016, revised 2025); the international credit rating agencies were named (2016); and the asset-value calculation method was revised and expanded (2021).
